NEW YORK, NEW YORK! We did it, guys! We got a space in the NYCC artist alley. (Shhh… How is not important…). But we have 5 days to get the word out! We’ll be there with the last of the All Star posters, the last of the first printing of “It Sucks To Be Weegie #2,” and the DEBUT of Kevin’s Comics Gals Roller Derby art! Swing by table W7 in the Artist Alley hall so we can hang out!
It’s HAPPENING! We got in! YAAAAY! *Muppet Hands!*
RING BELLS. BANG GONGS. TELL YOUR MOM. We’re gonna be at NYCC! :D
Autumn is beautiful in Baltimore. Come take a walk through the turning leaves and flip a few pages with us at the Baltimore Book Festival this weekend. This street festival is free for everyone, so bring a group!
I heard some of you guys like reading. Maybe we see you there?
Otakon 2013. Feeling Marvelous!
THEY’RE HERE!! The posters have arrived! Kevin Bolk will get’em all signed, I’ll get’em all numbered, and then there will be 100 TUBES!
:D Fave it if you want one! Reblog if you just like tubes. ;D
Got a special treat for you folks that dig my work (especially if you’re attending Otakon or Fan Expo Canada.)
I’ve been selling art and comics at conventions with Interrobang Studios for five years now, and to celebrate that anniversary, the Studio is printing 100 copies of K-Bo’s All-Star All-Card Poster, “A Rainbow of Characters”. It’s a full-size 27” x 39” poster with over 225 characters on it (previously only available at conventions.) All of the posters are will be signed and numbered by yours truly! Quantities will be strictly limited.
And, cause we know we don’t get out to shows on the west coast much, or internationally for that matter, we’re also running a K-Bo Combo special on the posters
The pack comes with a poster, a K-Bo K-Book 1: The Red One art book, and an original sketch on the back of your book. We’ll be bringing these posters with us to both of our August shows, so be sure to look for them! However, since the posters are limited edition, we’re posting these online more than a week before the convention starts so all our fans get a shot at them. Poster orders placed before Otakon (8/9/13) will be guaranteed, charged immediately, and reserved to ship in August 2013. For more info, check out the Interrobang Studios store.
Super excited about these, you guys! :D Got one more announcement to make before Otakon and I think you’ll reeeeaaally like it. Stay tuned. ;)
So proud of you, Kevin! This thing’s no joke: 5 year’s in the making and more than 2 feet by 3 feet! (27”x39” or 69.5cmx99cm for the metric folks).
Y’all’re gonna rainbow facexplode in rainbow facexplosions when you see this in person.
We’re all done with Baltimore Comic Con 2009 pictures, but we’re still in the way-back machine. On to Small Press Expo 2009 with Kevin, Sarah, Jade, and Sally!
This is one of my all time favorite photos of me and Kevin together. This was our first SPX as exhibitors. :D

Becky is our A-grade, first-class Interro-Girl! We designed a little cigarette girl outfit for her and she made it from SCRATCH. Omg, the talent!
Seriously jealous of this lady’s ability to make three dimensional objects out of cloth. <3
Hey everybody! Say hi to Interrobang Studios’ summer intern, Scot.
(Hi, Intern Scot!) He’s helping Kevin Bolk and I pull together some amazing new stuff for you. Comics. Books. Art. OTHER MYSTERIOUS AND WONDROUS MYSTERY THINGS. You may see him around our booth at Otakon or Fan Expo Canada. You can DEFINITELY talk to him on his Tumblr Jimbosmash, his twitter @jimbosmash, or his FB fanpage
Love him, because he makes you awesome things.

Dark Intruder is actually a comic from before Kevin Bolk and I founded Interrobang Studios. Kevin was drawing this little guy back in high school and chronicled his adventures with the very first version of Interrobang, then called “Severed Limb Studios.”
Kevin and his friends all wrote and contributed to Severed Limb Studios. These were Kevin’s first comics printed and sold into local stores. The Dark Intruder (DI to his friends) was a key character in those early books.
When I met Kevin and we decided to try webcomics, we started Interrobang with 5 comics: 1 strip went live for each day of the work week. Dark Intruder went up on Mondays. He wrote and penciled it. I inked it.
When we started dating, one of the first things I gave him was a plushie that I designed and sewed out of quilting fabric. I didn’t trust myself to do anything complicated—I’m no seamstress—so DI The Plushie was intentionally blobby.
DI The Plush been in storage for years. While we were clearing the basement the other weekend, we discovered that a tub he’d been in got water damaged. Really, really water damaged. Sadly, he could not be salvaged. Perhaps some day I’ll commission a proper plush-crafter to make us a non-blobby DI. But for the sake of history, there was an original Interrobang Plushie and this was it.
There’s a story behind those books too… there were only ever 40 copies of the books printed in this format… but that’s a story for another time.
Art card commissioned by a fan at Wizard World Philly. Oh my. :D
